Are Weight Loss Programs Even Necessary?

It seems the majority of us are never satisfied unless we can fit into those favourite jeans, or secure that so called “bikini body”.

Sorry to disappoint a lot of you, but in reality, most of the weight loss programs you read about (and indeed try), usually contain the same rehashed information that has been around for almost a century. Our bodies are complex, but it’s pretty well documented what are calorie intake and weekly exercise quotas should be. A low carbohydrate and a low protein diet, combined with an active lifestyle with several weekly fitness sessions will almost always lead to weight loss. Even if you lead a busy lifestyle, simply changes such as working to work instead of driving can be an easy way to burn excess calories and aid your weight loss.
